THE WALLACE FAMILY

The Wallace family of which I an a decendant owes its Canadian abode to one William Wallace a farmer born in Northern Ireland, who had emigrated to South Carolina around 1772. William fled with his and young son, the South Carolina back country in 1782. They were loyalist refugees forced to flee their newly adopted home. This is the story of his family, my ancestors, the land from whence they came, and the new homes they made in what became Canada.
