35 Years of Dancing

Serpentine-Dolomite (Hastings County, Ontario) Tagua Nut (Ecuador) 9" X 5.5" X 7.5" 1998

A friend of mine commissioned me to make this piece for his parents' 35th wedding anniversary. It is made up of two individual bears, each dancing balanced on one foot. The eyes are inlayed Tagua Nut, which comes from an Ivory Palm Tree.
