Just a LIttle Bit of Rain
© 1988 G.J. Griffin

It's just a little bit of rain that's falling down.
The eagle plucks another rabbit off the ground.
The water here is much too clear you see.
It's just a little bit of rain but don't you see
The contradiction of this foul water to the sea.
We must consider everything we eat.

It's just a little bit of rain as if it ain't enough
With Mount St. Helen's and all that other stuff.
There's only fifteen miles of atmosphere to breathe.

Chorus:
Here comes the rain again
Drives me 'round the bend again ...
Drives me 'round the bend again ...

It's just a little bit of rain but can't you see
A hundred billion organisms would not agree.
They used to make these waters thrive you see.
It's just a little bit of rain but what is real
When politicians everywhere find other wounds to heal.
It's just a little bit of rain with which we must deal.

Chorus:

It's just a little bit of rain but even so,
We persist in wearing factory manufactured clothes.
It's just a little bit of rain as everyone knows.
It's just a little bit of rain in spite of it we must
Prevent this old gray world from turning into dust.
It's just a little bit of rain we no longer trust.

Chorus :
Here comes the rain again
Drives me 'round the bend again ...
Drives me 'round the bend again ...
