GeoInsight Corporation is a private Canadian company that was incorporated in 1973 as Gregory
Geoscience Limited to develop and practise multidisciplinary methods of analyzing the regional
environment and exploring for natural resources. The Company is associated with a team of
specialists having a broad range of skills and experience and a strong desire to serve our clients
with creativity, excellence and economy. These specialists use visual and/or digital processing as
warranted by the technical and budgetary requirements of the project. The Company has
developed techniques to merge aerial photographs, satellite images, geophysical data and maps.
This PROCOM System has been used to map a wide variety of themes including (among others)
land cover, geology, crops, forest depletions, snow and ice, and wildlife habitat, as well as to
detect changes and revise topographic maps. This capability is integrated with both SPANS and
ILWIS geographic information systems for complex spatial modelling and analysis.
