This module provides stereo viewing and change detection monitoring capabilities to the PROCOM-2. The SCD module, which is a second projection system, permits a second data set to be registered to the data set in the PROCOM-2 and combined with hard copy. Projections of data recorded on different dates, at varying scales or from different sources (e.g. radar and visual) of the same geographic location may be registered. The data sets may also be colour-coded to determine change between them within a study area.. The SCD module also provides stereo pairs to be viewed anaglyphically with a pair of stereo viewing glasses.
This add-on module adapts the image carrier of the PROCOM-2 to accommodate roll film, up to 9 inches in width, which can be viewed with the same zoom and roam capabilities as with a single image. The RFS module is designed with handles to advance or rewind the film to facilitate the search for desired data frames.
