The purpose of this project was to convert the extensive data holdings in the Canadian Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) and the provincial Breeding Bird Atlases (BBA) to standardized national GIS databases. GIS analysis techniques were then used to gain information on habitat distribution and variability, sample representivity, species distribution and habitat sensitivity.
