Dome Mountain falls on Sin City

Last night the Dome Mountain Desperadoes returned to the road as the War Wagon rumbled into Sin City to face The Wharf Rats. The Rats have been suffering injury woes all season long and things would not change this night. The weather was perfect and the field was magically illuminated to give the referee a good view - an effort to protect the young Skaven from late hits. It did that, with only one foul being attempted in the entire game, and that to no avail. 41,000 fans came to the game and would not be disappointed as the match from start to finish was all action with daring and desperate moves on behalf of all the players.

The Desperadoes did their level best to lock up and pound the speedy and elusive Wharf Rats and at the end of the first half they had taken four of the rats starting nine from the field, but were down in the score 2-0.

The Wharf Rats were only able to field nine players and a fan to start the game and would only have five and the fan to receive the second half kick-off. No matter, John Henry came out with his infamous blitz package and stormed the out-numbered Skaven. Knowing speed is not his strong point Tunstall, need a jump if he was to score three times in the second half and win this game. It would not come to be. The Chaos themselves fielded ten players in the second half and they had difficulty both chasing the ratmen and protecting the ball. They did manage to score two to garner a tie. The second TD coming on a short pass from Belle Starr to Bill Tilgham in the dying seconds of the game. All this after rookie gutter runner Itch's third failed pass attempt of the game.

At the post-game interviews The Dread Lord declared the match a 5-0 crushing victory

"THEY RAN AND HID. THEIR LINES WERE BROKEN AND THEY WERE DRIVEN BEFORE US. THE LAMENTATIONS WERE AS MUSIC TO MY EARS. WE OWNED THE FIELD! "
