The Cattery is a fully heated and ventilated facility adjoining our home, containing 18 individual units, designed just for cats. Each unit is multi-level, easy to clean and has a real branch for climbing and scratching. There's even plenty of room for the more insecure tenants to have their crate with them. Supervision is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. To avoid any conflicts with another guest, cats are housed individually, except for those who are accustomed to being together. For cats that are well socialized and don't mind being handled by me, there is a screened sun porch overlooking the birdfeeders, and a free play area available, to break up the day. In order to keep your cat safe and secure, there is no outdoor area, or place where your cat can escape to the outdoors. Units are thoroughly cleaned once a day, during this time, cats will be allowed to individually enjoy the freedom of the sun porch or the play area. If they are open to the idea, your cat will also get personalized attention and light grooming. Please include your cat's brush or comb for this purpose. Toys and catnip are always available at the cattery! We prefer that you provide your cat's usual food, to avoid changes in diet. The cattery stocks Orijen/GO!/NOW! cat food, please advise us if your cat has any allergies. Litter is included in our boarding fee. If your cat requires medication, we are able to accommodate their special needs. We are able to care for diabetic cats requiring insulin, but do have special requirements for these cats. |

If your cat requires medical care while staying at New Moon Cattery, we will contact your vet to discuss the problem and act according to their suggestion. In case of a serious emergency, we would take your cat and your records to our veterinarian. All costs will be charged to your credit card. |

What to send along with your cat

Vaccines Required We require valid vaccination records and a health certificate. Be sure to check with your vet prior to boarding your cat. We ask that all cats be free of fleas. Any cats with fleas will be treated and the owner will be charged. |
