Kayak Seat System
The TURBO Kayak Seat System is the final answer to replacement of damaged kayak seats, seat rails, missing wing nuts and clamping bars. This system is suitable as new or replacement equipment in any K-1, K-2 or K-4 racing boat. It provides a great opportunity for Clubs to standardize their seat equipment and gives individual paddlers the technical advantage to personalize their seat position to provide optimum height and angle.
Brought to you by the makers of the TURBO Kayak and Canoe paddles, the Turbo Kayak and Canoe Seat System combines the strength of epoxy resin with lightweight carbon graphite, molded together under high pressure and temperature to produce a strong, durable and lightweight seat assembly.
The TURBO Kayak Seat System provides a full 115 mm of fore and aft adjustment, 22 mm of height adjustment and up to 12 degrees of horizontal angle adjustment.
The TURBO Kayak Seat System includes a fully molded carbon graphite seat, extruded T6061 aluminum rails and a carbon graphite composite seat platform that is easily shaped to conform to any hull. All hardware components are high quality stainless steel hardware fittings, so they will never corrode, even in salt water conditions. Installation in new or existing racing boats is straightforward.
Best of all, the TURBO Kayak Seat System is fully interchangeable between current 'Plastex' and 'van Dusen' boat models, to permit easy installation of personalizes seat equipment.
