My thoughts on teaching
As an artist, I love working alone and capturing the spirit of the Canadian landscape.  But when working alone I miss the joy and energy that comes from working with other people, so I also love to share the knowledge I have worked so hard to attain.  My workshops are designed to help students express the ideas and images that are precious to them.  My approach is very systematic and is not intimidating.  There are never mistakes, but rather lots of learning and personal growth.  I believe when a student is able to generate their own creative energy, that positive force moves outward and touches the lives of others.
