What is Electrathon?:
High School and local teams build a three or four wheeled electric vehicle powered by 2 automotive type batteries. The team traveling the greatest distance in one hour is the winner. Some of these vehicles can average over 60 kph the world record is 80 kph .
The racetrack is a 1/10th scale duplicate of the St. Javite racetrack. It has turns and rises.
We inspected the track and did 4 test laps on July 29th. The two small hills and sharp turns should make for an interesting race.
