Alyssa Radulescu

Alyssa Radulescu has been with Dominic's "Rising Stars Program" for 2.5 years now. Alyssa began entertaining crowds with her darling voice and dance steps at the tender age of 2 and 1/2. She has a passion for singing, dancing and playing the piano. This bubbly 8 year old studies Irish dancing at the Sue Fay Healy School of Traditional Irish Dance and is part of the Performing Company at the school. She has won numerous medals and trophies and is currently training to compete at the Eastern Canadian Irish Dancing Championship in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Alyssa also studies piano at L’École de musique Pierrette Brunette and is preparing for her Conservatory exam. She enjoys composing her own music and writing her own lyrics. She has performed and has been interviewed on local radio and television stations. Alyssa has performed for many charity events, multicultural functions and weddings, at retirement homes and schools. More recently, she sang the National Anthem at the opening ceremonies of the Canada Day festivities at Andrew Hayden Park. Other singing and dancing performances include the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Canadian Museum of Nature, local restaurants, the Ottawa Exhibition, Tim Horton’s Send A Kid To Camp Day, Italian Week annual festivities, the community annual picnic in Massena, New York, the Kidney Foundation fundraising gala, the CHEO Foundation fundraising gala, the Irish Society Gala and the annual ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) Walks and fundraisers in memory of her dear grand-father, Pierino Peloso, who lost his life to this unforgiving disease for which there is still no cure.

Alyssa is a Canadian-Italo-Romanian singing and dancing sensation who performs in three languages: English, French and Italian. She attends a French Catholic school and enjoys skating, playing various sports and listening to music. Alyssa dreams of dancing in the cast of Riverdance and would love the opportunity to perform in a musical.
