1. Turn time limit is officially 5 minutes, but really up to the 2 coaches playing the game.
2. Teams are to be named with reference to the coaches’ home area.
3. Team colours are to be approved by the league office to avoid duplication.
4. Any new coaches come in on a trial one tourney basis. The established coaches will at the end of the tourney have the right to vote out any new coach they feel does not fit the spirit of sportsmanship of ABBA.
5. A coach can be allowed to run up to two teams simultaneously.

There will be a maximum of 12 teams in the league. If the number of coaches reaches high enough, a new coach's team takes precedence over an established coach’s second team for a spot.

In the event of a coach's two teams playing each other the coach must arrange a substitute coach to run the team of the substitute's choice in the match.

A coach with two teams who does not make every effort to play all his games, and complete at least 80% with each team, will not be allowed to keep two teams.

A coach may not make loans between his two teams.

1. All coaches are requested to regularly provide updated rosters for the league statistician and ABBA website.
2. Winners of games are requested to provide a game report/story for each match. Please include details such as TD’s, Casualties, etc., as well as gate receipts, new skills and new hires.
3. It is allowed for teams who are Allies to trade players between them, with a 50% "brokers" fee being paid by each receiving coach. Other considerations as negotiated. Teams trading away homegrown Stars suffer -1 FF. No trades are permitted in the second half of a teams season.
4. Loans and Bounties are permitted. Loans may only be made where the receiving team can reasonably expect to repay the loan by end of the season, counting gate receipts and prizes but not Special Play Cards. All loans WILL be repaid each season, with indebted teams being forced to sell assets at cost (including but not limited to players) in order to cover the debt.
