Welcome from the Director of Professional Training and Development
The Norman Paterson School of International Affairs - Professional Training and Development (NPSIA-PTD) is the continuing education extension of NPSIA’s widely recognized graduate level programs.
NPSIA-PTD offers opportunities for ongoing learning and training that lead to the development of expertise and competencies in the practice of international affairs. This includes programs in leadership, policy making and planning, institutional management and effective communication for diplomats, public service personnel and private sector professionals. Our certificate programs and consultative services are designed to equip both individuals and institutions with the skills and capacity necessary to create and maintain international relationships for success. Our expertise in the academic, public, and private sectors assures an approach that is practical, relevant and effective.
