No thread is comparable to flat silk for its luminosity and ability to create dimension with little shading, however flat silks can be challenging to work with.  This workshop will teach students how to handle and embroider with untwisted Piper’s silks.  Students will learn; how to reel off their silks, lay them flat, radial stitching, voiding, split stitch.  Students have the option of stitching on either a black or cream coloured background.
